Nail Hacks: 5 Ordinary Everyday Items To Use
It is a marvel how far beauty trends have reached these days. From using lipstick as concealer to using spoons for a perfect winged eyeliner, every woman out there is paving her way through beauty and the hardships it poses. And today I am here to show you yet another list of 5 simple everyday items that you can use for the betterment of your nail routine. Let’s begin with these nail hacks:
Nail Hacks #5 : Plastic Loofah
Creating designs on your nails? There has never been a harder job, especially when your nail bed is stubby or there isn’t enough space there to create a pattern. But this is when you should go and grab your loofah. Snip off a wee piece with a pair of scissors and stick it on your nail with the help of a piece of tape. Now you are free to either sponge some glitter, polish or even make a gradient on your nails with this loofah. And when you remove it, VIOLA you got mermaid nails.
Nail Hacks #4: Dishwashing Sponge
You can use dish sponges to make gradient nails. You only need a small section of dish sponge and it works just as fine. Many sponges are sold in the dollar store and drugstores, you can buy them at very cheap rates like 6 sponges for $3.
Nail Hack #3: Film Wrap
There is no end to the list of nail art designs there are. Everything that you can think of is considered nail art. And in the same way you can use film wrap to go creative. There are 2 ways to use film wrap. First is that you tear off a small piece, crozzle it up, dip it in the nail polish of your choice and apply it to your nails like shown in the video below:
The other method is to apply your base coat. Then drip on to your nail drops of different nail polish colors. After you’re satisfied with the result take a bit of film wrap and wrap it tightly around your nail like shown in the video below.
Nail Hacks #2: Tape
This of course is a no brainer. Everyone uses tape for their nails but many buy those special extra thin tapes. That is really not necessary for scotch tape works just as fine for making marvelous nail designs. Take for instance this BuzzFeed article which showcases many nail art designs that can be executed with scotch tape and some other small accessories like pinking shears…etc.
